PROCEDURE FOR JAMB CHANGE OF INSTITUTION / COURSE & DATA CORRECTION 2019/20120

This is an avenue for those who sat for the 2019 JAMB UTME and they desire to change their Course/Institution or Correction of Data which they made during JAMB registration. Generally, one is free to change course or institution for one reason or the other.

 

Reasons for the Change of JAMB Institution / Course  / Correction of Data

 The following are reasons for the change of JAMB Institution/Course/Correction of Data

 1. Mistake was made during filling of JAMB FORM
 2. JAMB Score is not up cut off mark
 3. Incomplete O'Level result
 4. loss of interest in the course/discipline or institution
 5. wrong combination of subjects.

 How to Change Jamb of Institution / Course / Data Correction

 1. log on to https://www.jamb.org.ng/correction.htm
 2. login in your JAMB profile using your email and password
 3. many JAMB available services will open
4. click on  "Application for Correction of data"
5. from the menu items select the one you wish to change, i.e Course/Institution" name, state/LGA of Origin, date of birth, gender, etc. and it will open
 6. Click on it
 7. select the year you wrote the JAMB
 8. Enter your registration number to bring out your details
 9. Immediately you select this service, a transaction ID is generated in a bold red font.
 10. then review your details displayed on the confirmation page. the transaction ID
 This is to guide you on how  NB: Changes for Course/Institution, Names, Date of Birth, Gender, State/LGA of Origin, etc.

 At the cost N2,500 (two thousand five hundred Naira only).

 JAMB Change of Course, Institution and Data Correction Procedures:

The information below explains steps to change your institution, course of study and data. Therefore, follow the guidelines below to effect any of the changes you desire.

• Go to JAMB portal @ https://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility./
• Login with your Email and Password.
• Click on ‘Registration (2019 only)’ from the list of services on the left side.
• From the drop-down, select ‘2019 UTME Data Correction‘.
• Then proceed to payment.

After payment, proceed to either the closest JAMB office or a JAMB accredited Centre to complete the process.
